Once we were far off, yet by the mercy of God we have been brought near. The true King and Priest, the Branch, is building the temple of the Lord. Christ Himself is the One establishing His kingdom and gathering His people. And by grace, even those who were once far off are called to come and take part in this work. What a mercy that the Savior would invite us into what He is building. May we not trade this glorious inheritance for things that are fleeting, but gladly give our lives to the kingdom He is establishing!
