As the church enters its 29th year, we not only celebrate God’s faithfulness in the past, but we also look ahead with hope for the future. In this season of replanting, we see how the Lord is rooting us more deeply in the Gospel, strengthening our fellowship, and renewing our joy in service. This leads us to an important question: What assurance do we have that WordComm will accomplish its mission and remain strong for the next 40 years? Our confidence does not rest in our name, our brand, or our history. It rests in the truth that God is committed to His Gospel. In this sermon, we explore the elements that sustain a Gospel-centered movement: deep reliance on the Spirit, covenant commitment to holiness, and settled conviction for mission.
